Know Your Rights!

Under federal law — the National Labor Relations Act — Amazon workers have the right to come together to improve wages and working conditions. Congress passed the NLRA in 1935 to protect employees' rights, encourage collective bargaining, and diminish certain private-sector labor and management practices.

The victories highlighted on our website were won using these rights and, most importantly, our power in numbers!

Concerted activity is defined as two or more employees taking action for their mutual aid or protection regarding terms and conditions of employment, and it is protected under the NLRA. An acronym to keep in mind to easily remember a few of the ways your employer might break the law and retaliate is TRIPS. See the TRIPS chart for all the info!
